GRM Project Engineer – Vacancy

GRM is a rapidly expanding provider of CAE services, engineering consultancy and software solutions. Since its beginning in 2003, GRM has grown every year to stand out as a leading organisation in its field. Due to continued expansion of its consultancy activities GRM seeks a CAE Project Engineer to support the delivery of client projects.

The CAE Project Engineer role is open to enthusiastic and forward thinking engineers who wish to join a dynamic and expanding organisation. The role will involve liason with GRM’s clients in a wide variety of industries, including automotive medical, motorsport and many more. Your exposure to a large range of engineering problems will be unique. You will be based at the company’s Leamington Spa office and will report to the Engineering Manager. You will work with clients throughout the UK to understand their needs and propose appropriate packages of simulation work. In conjunction with the consulting team and principle engineers you will deliver these projects and endeavour to expand the service that GRM provides.

Ideally you will have achieved an upper second class or higher degree from a well-respected University, with modules including finite element analysis. It is probable that you will have undertaken a sandwhich course during your studies and have experience of FEA and CAE in industry. Having approximately 3 years industrial experience, you will be looking to expand your role from your current position and be keen to further your knowledge of structural simulation methods. You will have gained analysis experience using some of the following software packages: Nastran, Genesis, Abaqus, Ansa, Hyperworks, LS-Dyna, LS Pre Post or Animator.

Training will be provided as appropriate to allow you to gain a full understanding of GRM’s software.

The salary range will be dependant on your experience as an analyst and will be in the range of £25k-£35k. Further details about the company can be found on our website.
